Thompson Woman Charged in Crash That Killed Two Pedestrians

RCMP Logo VehicleA 22-year-old Thompson woman has been charged in the deaths of two pedestrians earlier this week.

Two teen males, aged 17 and 18, were struck and killed Tuesday night while walking on Thompson Drive with a group of friends.

Chelsea Melody Flett has been charged with two counts each of impaired driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death, criminal negligence causing death and breach of probation. She has also been charged with obstructing police and taking a motor vehicle without consent.

Flett remains in custody.

The victim’s names haven’t been released.
