Winnipeg police have identified and interviewed the woman seen near where Thelma Krull went missing last July.

Photos of the woman, wearing jeans and a purple top, were circulated on Monday during a news conference to highlight the one-year mark since Krull’s disappearance. The 57-year-old grandmother was out walking in the Civic Park area at around 8 a.m. last summer when she never returned home.

Police say no new information has come to light as a result of the interview with the woman in the purple top.

The homicide unit continues to investigate Krull’s disappearance. Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
