WINNIPEG — Football fans will look to the skies Wednesday at Investors Group Field for a pre-game flyby.
The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) aircraft will conduct a low-level flyby over the stadium at around 7:30 p.m. as part of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Appreciation Game opening ceremonies.
The fly-over will occur no lower than 500 feet above the highest point of the stadium, and make a return trip back to 17 Wing Winnipeg.
During halftime, the football club will honour former Bomber Milt Stegall as the fourth inductee to the Ring of Honour.
The Blue Bombers (2-4) host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (3-2).
