Manitobans food entrepreneurs looking to commercialize their products can compete in the 10th annual Great Manitoba Food Fight.
It’s a chance to compete to win one of three product development and service awards by duking it out against fellow food-inspired peers.
“We know our province is home to tasty, unique foods and beverages that are ready to take the next step toward commercialization and the larger marketplace,” said Agriculture Minister Ralph Eichler.
“This competition is designed to help Manitobans take the next step forward with their food-based businesses.”
A judging panel will award prizes, including cash and services valued at $3,500, $7,000 and $10,000.
The Great Manitoba Food Fight takes place September 21 at De Luca’s Specialty Foods, 950 Portage Avenue.
The deadline to apply is August 19.
