Suspect Charged in Downtown Winnipeg Sexual Assaults

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police have charged a man after a 46-year-old woman was assaulted on July 12 after spotting the suspect perform an indecent act.

The woman was in the 300 block of Portage Avenue at around 5:20 p.m. when she observed the man’s activities. She told him she would call police, but he assaulted her and she fell to the ground.

The woman was treated for minor injuries and the suspect fled.

Additional groping incidents and indecent acts were reported to police soon after in the same area.

Moses Bradley Swan, 20, of Winnipeg has been charged with six counts of sexual assault, assault causing bodily harm, as well as failing to comply with court orders.
