The stairway at Portage and Main that leads from the street level courtyard to the concourse in front of 201 Portage will remain closed until mid-October.
The closure is to accommodate asbestos abatement, in addition to water infiltration repairs.
The city says access to the concourse can be gained through the lobby of 201 Portage and then taking the escalators.
Portage Avenue can also be crossed by using the crosswalk 200 feet west of 201 Portage at Notre Dame Avenue.
