The body of a man found in a dumpster in the 400 block of McGee Street on Wednesday has been identified.
Winnipeg police say the victim is Garnet Walter Williams, 43, of Winnipeg.
Williams was found at around 8:45 p.m.
Police are asking anyone with information on Williams’ associates or whereabouts in the weeks leading up to his death to contact investigators at (204) 986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
