A father and daughter on a cross-Canada motorcycle ride to raise funds for children’s hospitals are arriving in Winnipeg today.
Bruce Johnson and his daughter, Holly, began their Motorcycle for Miracles journey August 1 with the goal of travelling more than 9,400 kilometres from St. John’s, Newfoundland to Vancouver, B.C.
The trip is part of the RE/MAX Month of Miracles as the duo visits 14 local Children’s Miracle Network hospitals along the way.
The ride has already raised $30,000, with more funds on the way as they complete their trip west.
Bruce, who is a RE/MAX real estate agent, will be greeted by local agents and others outside Winnipeg’s Children’s Hospital at 10 a.m. to celebrate their arrival.
