West End BizAnother mural will be unveiled in the West End today.

Connected to Play is the latest addition in the Winnipeg neighboured by student artist Kadi Badiou, who worked with more than 120 local children on the project.

The mural is a fun representation of popular children’s games from around the world. It’s located at 555 Ellice Avenue at the corner of Langside Street.

“Games are an important part of all cultures and one of the oldest forms of human interaction,” said West End BIZ executive director Gloria Cardwell-Hoeppner.

“Given the diversity of our area, we thought this theme would be not just appropriate but a really fun one for the children to work on, and they loved it!”

This is the second of three murals the BIZ commissioned this summer. Connected to Play will be formally unveiled at 10:30 a.m.
