A two-vehicle crash on Highway 7 Wednesday evening has claimed the life of one woman and sent a man to hospital.
Manitoba RCMP say it happened at around 5:30 p.m. three kilometres north of Highway 67 when a northbound pickup truck veered into the lane of an oncoming semi-trailer truck. The two collided head-on, killing the female driver.
Her male passenger was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the semi wasn’t injured.
Alcohol is not believed to have been a contributing factor and police continue to investigate.
