WINNIPEG — Organizers of the 2017 Canada Summer Games have put the call out for 5,500 volunteers next summer.
The Games run July 28 to August 13, 2017 and will be the largest multi-sport and cultural events ever hosted in the city.
“We want to emphasize the human legacy these Games will bring to our city and province,” said 2017 Canada Summer Games Host Society Co-Chair Mariette Mulaire.
“Behind every exciting moment at the 2017 Canada Summer Games you’ll find our volunteers. They will represent the best of the Games and the benefits to the community will extend long past August 2017.”
Volunteers can register online at canadagames.ca/2017 or in-person at the volunteer recruitment centre. The centre is located at 296-240 Graham Avenue and is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday.
