Shadoe DavisWINNIPEG — 680 CJOB is placing all bets on veteran broadcaster Shadoe Davis as part of the station’s all-new radio lineup.

Davis, formerly of Corus sister station 97.5 BIG FM (now Power 97), will move down the hallway to begin his new show Monday, September 12. Airing weekdays from 6-10 a.m., Davis will be joined by sports and news veterans Kelly Moore and Jeff Braun.

Geoff Currier moves to weekdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by Dahlia Kurtz’s popular afternoon show. CJOB is expanding Kurtz’s timeslot from 1-4 p.m. and will add co-host Brett Megarry.

News director Richard Cloutier will shift to weekday afternoons from 4-7 p.m. for “The News on CJOB,” featuring news junkie Julie Buckingham.

To make way for their new programming, Corus Entertainment cut ties with longtime broadcaster Kathy Kennedy last week.

Further down the hallway at 99.1 Fresh Radio, the station has added David Drake as their afternoon drive host. Drake is the former program/music director of Bell Media’s 103.1 Virgin Radio and sister station 99.9 BOB FM.
