Fear the Waking Dead

A ghoulishly good time for the entire family this Halloween season is returning for a second year.

Fear the Waking Dead is a live action zombie apocalypse escape game taking place Fridays to Sundays from October 7-30 at Adrenaline Adventures.

“Last year, at Fun Mountain, we created something creepy,” said Desiree Joyal, one of the event’s organizers.

“This year, we’ve created an event that is truly terrifying. Shooting the video scared me, nevermind the actual event.”

Visitors get paired up in groups of 20 to try and solve puzzles that will unlock an inoculation within 20 minutes.

“Why do the people need to be inoculated? Well, if time’s up on the game, and the inoculation isn’t unlocked, the zombies feast,” reads a description for the event. “If the brave souls who venture to the game can win, they will walk amongst the horde.”

The cost is $25 per person and tickets can be purchased through fearwpg.ca.

Fear the Waking Dead runs from 7 p.m. to midnight.
