Two people were arrested on Monday following the discovery of a gun, ammunition, and knives in a Swan River residence.
Manitoba RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence at around 9 a.m. where they found the items.
Marvin David Flett, 51, faces several weapons-related charges, as well as failing to comply with a probation order.
An 18-year-old man was also arrested and later released without charge.
During the search of the residence, nearby Heyes School was locked down for approximately 45 minutes as a precaution.
Police say they are not concerned for public safety, but continue to investigate.
