Every wanted to get a behind-the-scenes look at Prairie Theatre Exchange?
In celebration of Culture Days 2016 this weekend, the Winnipeg theatre is opening its doors on Saturday and Sunday to show visitors everything from wardrobe to the workshop.
PTE tour guides will show guests through the 42,000 square feet of space, giving them a look at the green room, how and where sets are built, where props are made and where PTE playwrights write and share their ideas.
PTE Theatre School and outreach director Loc Lu will also be on hand to answer questions.
Tours run at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 1. A third tour runs at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 2. Visitors are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tours and meet in the lobby.
PTE is located on the third floor of Portage Place.
