The bodies of two men are the focus of a Winnipeg police investigation after they were found Monday inside a parked car in the city’s North End.
Police were called to the 300 block of College Avenue at around 10:35 p.m. for the report of people requiring medical attention inside a vehicle.
It’s unclear at this point in the investigation what led to the deaths of the two people.
Emergency crews, including the HazMat unit, had a section of College Avenue closed between Charles Street and Aikins Street.
A tow truck loaded the four-door blue Chevrolet sedan on a flatbed shortly before 1 p.m.
The scene is in close proximity to nearby Machray Elementary School.
Police say autopsies are pending and no further information is available.
