Two high-risk sex offenders are in police custody after being on the lam since August.
The Manitoba High Risk Sex Offender Unit put out an alert in the summer for two men that had been at large.
Martin Patrick didn’t return to his approved residence on July 6, but ended up turning himself into police on September 24.
Walter Francis was found on Long Plain First Nation after not returning to his approved residence on June 22. He was arrested without incident on September 13 with the help of the Dakota Ojibway Police Service.
Both Patrick and Francis remain in custody.
