A two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon has claimed the life of a 14-year-old girl in the RM of Morris south of Winnipeg.
Emergency crews responded at around 2:30 p.m. to the intersection of Highway 23 and PR 336 where a car and semi collided.
A 14-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the car, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The 48-year-old woman driving the car was taken to hospital in critical condition. Both were from the RM of Morris.
The driver of the semi suffered minor injuries.
RCMP say alcohol is not believed to be a factor and continue to investigate.
