WINNIPEG — Loblaw stores across Western Canada and Ontario have raised $208,000 for KidSport Canada, helping those who need a little help to get off the sidelines and become active.

“We are incredibly grateful to have such strong support from Real Canadian Superstore,” said Bryan Ezako, manager of KidSport Canada.

“We believe that all kids should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports and their ongoing support helps us accomplish that goal.”

The cheque presentation was made Wednesday at the University of Winnipeg RecPlex, as 40 Real Canadian Superstore staff cheered on local kids participating in sport while handing out snacks and refreshments.

The Give a Little, Help a Lot campaign has raised more $1.5 million since 2009.
