WINNIPEG — After a soft run the past week, the newest Nuburger location is ready for its grand opening.
The local burger joint is opening at The Forks on Wednesday and is having a burgers and beer event to celebrate.
Starting at 6 p.m., the first 80 people will enjoy a $20 burger and beer combo — one of three burgers from Nuburger and a select beer from The Common. DJ DLO will be on the turntables starting at 5:30 p.m.
“They are a great addition to the Food Hall and really highlight what we are about here at The Forks — really delicious, local food,” said Clare MacKay with The Forks North Portage.
“We want to showcase the best of Winnipeg, and Nuburger is part of that.”
The Forks is the third location for Nuburger. The company also operates at 472 Stradbrook Avenue and 1-1650 Kenaston Boulevard.
