WINNIPEG — Santa Claus will work away in a transformative workshop inside The Fairmont Winnipeg as he prepares for Christmas.
The hotel has converted the historic Royal Alexandra Suite on the 20th floor as the big man in red meets with toymakers and shops downtown as Christmas quickly approaches.
Santa will check in Saturday, November 19 and stay until December 18. The public can visit his luxurious sweet every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The suite has been decorated to represent a whimsical Nutcracker ballet theme with twinkling pink and gold Christmas trees, a letter-writing station for leaving holiday wish lists, a dinner table for Santa and his guests, and giveaways for visitors.
Guests who post or tweet a photo of their Santa Suite visit using the hashtag #WPGSantaSuite will automatically be entered to win a one-night stay at Fairmont Winnipeg on the Fairmont Gold floor.
Meet and greet photo dates are as follows:
- Saturday, December 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Saturday, December 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Saturday, December 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
