WINNIPEG — It just might be Canada’s largest public art installation.

Upper Fort Garry Provincial Park at Broadway and Main will unveil its sound and light show attraction later today, known formally as the Heritage Wall.

The 440-foot-long wall represents the history of the Fort and western Canada.

Dr. Jerry Gray, chair of the Friends of Upper Fort Garry, says that visitors can also use the free Upper Fort Garry app to complement their time at the fort to open a new world of technology in learning of the past.

“The UFG sound and light Show adds another technological element to the unique experience that one can expect at Upper Fort Garry Provincial Park,” Gray said.

A news conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
