A 22-year-old man is listed in stable condition after he was shot while answering his front door on Thursday.
Winnipeg police say it happened in the first 100 block of Pinetree Crescent, in the city’s Riverbend neighbourhood, at around 2:30 p.m.
The man was shot in the upper body and rushed to hospital by paramedics.
The suspect is described as a black man, between the ages of 30 and 40, and 5’11” tall.
