WestJet passengers will no longer have to suffer by drinking no-name coffee on board their flight.
The Calgary-based airline has teamed up with McDonald’s to offer McCafé Premium Roast coffee.
WestJet will offer complimentary McDonald’s coffee across its fleet of Boeing 737NG and 767NG aircraft with the company’s regional airline, WestJet Encore, to follow.
The partnership is expected to serve approximately 30,000 cups of McCafé coffee to WestJet guests every day. On-board coffee will also be served for the first time with a lid inside of a double-walled cup familiar to passengers, which will include an on-cup McDonald’s rewards collector card and peelable sticker.
McCafé Premium Roast coffee will be available on WestJet flights beginning December 1.
