WINNIPEG — City crews will be monitoring road conditions as the first snowfall is expected to occur overnight.
Officials say sanding and salting operations are ready to go, should they be required.
Environment Canada is predicting about 1-3 cm of snow overnight into Tuesday beginning at around midnight.
Any required sanding and plowing efforts will initially focus on main routes, bus routes and collector streets. There are no winter parking bans currently in effect.
Any precipitation likely won’t stick around with Tuesday’s forecast high of 2°C.
