The CP Holiday Train will chug into Winnipeg this weekend with performers Dallas Smith and Odds.
The award-winning country band and the Canadian alternative rockers will arrive at 9 p.m. on Friday, December 2 when the train stops on Molson Street between Panet Road and Munroe Avenue. The event is expected to last until 9:45 p.m.
The train will then travel west to Portage la Prairie and Brandon on Saturday before arriving in Virden on Sunday morning.
The free cross-country community Christmas concerts are fundraisers for Food Banks Canada, helping to feed those in need who would otherwise go to bed hungry. Non-perishable food items are being accepted at each stop along the tour.
