Angels will be spreading their wings on Thursday and Friday for the Misericordia Health Centre Foundation.
The Angel Squad is lining the Maryland Bridge to collect drive-thru donations and spreading holiday joy. It’s the 21st year for the squad, which include MHC current and former staff and volunteers, families, students from neighbouring schools, dignitaries, and others passionate about the care provided by Misericordia Health Centre.
Drive-thru donations will be accepted from 6-9 a.m. December 1 and from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, December 2. Those who make a donation will receive a Starbucks coffee or hot chocolate. On Friday, angels will also be at Starbucks at 201 Portage and 360 Main.

If the Maryland Bridge isn’t along your daily commute, you can make a donation by calling (204) 788-8458, by texting ANGEL to 20222 to donate $10 or by visiting misericordiafoundation.com. Donations of $10 and over are eligible for a tax receipt.
