A two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning near St. Laurent, Manitoba has killed a 29-year-old man.
A southbound pickup truck collided with the back end of a cube truck at around 7:30 a.m. on Highway 6 just south of St. Laurent.
RCMP say the cube truck had spun out of the northbound lane and was in the southbound lane facing south.
The 29-year-old driver of the pickup truck, from the RM of Coldwell, was pronounced deceased on scene. The 29-year-old Winnipeg man driving the cube truck wasn’t injured.
Police say road conditions are considered a factor in the crash and the highway had slippery sections at the time. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
