Sage Creek Holiday Light Show

Six show homes in Winnipeg’s Sage Creek neighbourhood are flicking the switch on a spectacular holiday light show.

Throughout the month of December, the homes on Snowberry Circle will be shining bright with more than 2,800 light bulbs.

“We ended up with a great grouping of show homes this year that are facing a main street through the community,” said Sarah Anderson, communications and neighbourhood liaison with Qualico Communities.

“And with a name like Snowberry Circle, we knew had to do something special.”

Spectators can tune their radios to 100.3 FM to hear the beat of 15 classic and fun holiday songs.

Parking will be available along Snowberry Circle and in the show home parking spaces. They will also have the option to stop along Edward Turner Drive, a street over from Snowberry Circle, to see the entire light show from a distance.

Non-perishable food items and unwrapped toys for the Christmas Cheer Board will be collected on site. Donations can be made during show home hours, Monday to Thursday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The light show will run nightly from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. until December 31.
