Winnipeg police have charged a 59-year-old city man after finding thousands of child pornography files.
Police were alerted to illicit images being uploaded from a Winnipeg-based IP address and began an investigation.
A search warrant was executed October 26, where officers seized numerous computers and electronic devices containing videos and thousands of images.
Gerald Lemer has been charged with possession of child pornography and two counts of distributing child pornography.
Lemer remains in custody.
