The City of Winnipeg will begin plowing residential streets on Friday morning.
The city continues to receive snowfall on Wednesday as part of a system that made its way into Manitoba on Monday and moved eastward. Up to 30 cm was expected by the time the precipitation was to taper off later this afternoon.
A residential parking ban will be in effect at 7 a.m. on December 9.
Citizens are urged to confirm their snow zone letter in order to determine when their residential street is scheduled for clearing. You can find your snow zone with the Address Lookup Tool, by contacting 311 or by using the Know Your Zone app.
Starting at 7:00 a.m. Friday, December, 9 residents of snow zones A, F, I, M, P, Q, T, U will need to move their vehicles as plowing will be underway in those zones until 7 p.m. Friday.
