U of M Bisons Recruit Five to Women’s Hockey Team

University of Manitoba BisonsThe University of Manitoba Bisons have recruited five players for the 2017-18 season.

Joining the Herd next season will be Lauren Taraschuk, Madison Cole, Émilie Massé, Brielle Dacquay-Neveux and Lauren Warkentin.

Taraschuk is a goalie from Winnipeg, Cole is a forward from Alberta, while Masse is a forward from Winnipeg, Dacquay-Neveux plays on defence from Winnipeg and Warkentin is a defenceman from Steinbach.

The Bisons are currently ranked eigth at the end of the first half of the 2016-17 season. Following the holiday break, the Bisons travel to face the Regina Cougars January 6-7. Their next home game will be hosting the UBC Thunderbirds during the weekend of January 13-14.
