A Toronto retailer specializing in products for dogs has come up with an idea for a new piece of winter apparel.
The 5-Second Dog Parka is the vision of World of Angus to develop a jacket for your pooch, while offering the same level of comfy winter protection suited for humans.
“Winter dog jackets need to be easy to get on, keep your dog warm and active, and last a lifetime. The jacket you wear in the winter is all of these things, why shouldn’t your dogs be?,” the company says on its Kickstarter page.
“After six seasons of buying a new coat for my own dog and listening to tons of customer feedback, we knew we had to make the 5-Second Dog Parka, and we had to make it in Canada,” said company founder Jeremy Potvin.
The parka’s key features include being able to put it on your dog in five seconds flat. It’s made from real Canadian goose down and manufactured completely on this side of the border. They’re even backing it up with a five-year guarantee.
The Kickstarter has a fundraising goal of $10,000 by January 31, 2017.
The 5-Second Dog Parka will retail from $119-$159, but those who back the product will get the option to purchase one for $99.
