Man in Stable Condition After Elmwood Shooting

Winnipeg Police CrestA 32-year-old man was shot in the lower body Monday afternoon in the Elmwood area.

Winnipeg police were called to the 600 block of Herbert Avenue at around 2:15 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

The man was taken to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable.

Police say the major crimes unit is investigating.
