An investigation has been launched after a man died in a Brandon hotel room hours after having contact with police.
Police received a 911 call on Wednesday morning about a deceased man inside a hotel room. They determined the man had contact with officers the previous evening during a call for service.
The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba has launched a probe regarding the death.
