A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital in critical condition Sunday morning when a fight broke out at an apartment party.
Winnipeg police were called to the 1100 block of Munroe Avenue at around 12:40 a.m. where a man was found suffering from stab wounds. He has since been upgraded to stable condition.
Police say two men, aged 19 and 20, confronted the victim and a fight erupted. During the altercation, one of the suspects took out a knife and allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times.
The suspects were arrested by officers and face charges of aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
They remain in custody.
