WINNIPEG — The Public Utilities Board has approved an increase in primary gas rates effective February 1.
The new rate will see the average residential customer paying approximately 4.5 percent more annually or $32/year.
Primary gas rates will be reviewed again on May 1, 2017.
Rates for customers that have signed fixed-term fixed-price contracts, with either Centra Gas or a private broker, are not affected.
