Brandon Woman Allegedly Punched, Choked by Boyfriend

Brandon Police Service CrestA Brandon woman is recovering after police say she was punched in the face, had her head slammed into a wall and was then choked by her boyfriend.

Police were called to a Regent Crescent home Thursday afternoon for the assault. The suspect had left before officers could arrive, and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Police say the 23-year-old Brandon man also threw the victim to the floor and threatened to kill her. He has yet to be located.
