Stony Mountain Institution (STAN MILOSEVIC / CHRISD.CA FILE)
An inmate was seriously injured on Monday at Stony Mountain Institution north of Winnipeg.
The 50-year-old was found with severe injuries in his cell that evening and was transferred to hospital in critical condition.
Stonewall RCMP and the Serious Crime Unit are investigating.
