North End Incident with Boy Wasn’t an Attempted Abduction: Police

Winnipeg Police CrestAn attempted abduction of an 11-year-old boy in Winnipeg’s North End last week never happened, police say.

The reported abduction was said to have occurred April 14 in the area of Selkirk Avenue and Parr Street.

Police say while an incident took place, it was not an attempted abduction.

The boy is said to have made it home safely.
