Manitoba Teacher Charged with Sexting Student

A teacher at a Grade 6-12 school in Hamiota, Manitoba is accused of sending inappropriate sexual text messages to a female student.

RCMP were alerted on November 8 that the student had received such messages from a male teacher at Hamiota Collegiate.

Dylan Woodcock, 25, has been charged with sexual exploitation of a young person and indecent communications.

He was scheduled to appear in Brandon court on Tuesday.

Shoal Lake RCMP continue to investigate.
