Stolen Vehicle with Weapons Inside Forces Lockdown at Manitoba School

RCMP Logo VehicleA Manitoba school was briefly placed on lockdown on Monday after reports of an armed man driving a stolen vehicle in the Petersfield area.

Police say a pickup truck was spotted at around 11 a.m. and was reported to have a gun and knife inside. The vehicle was stolen on Sunday evening.

Clandeboye School was temporarily placed on lockdown as a safety precaution while officers in the area investigated.

RCMP located the vehicle at around 1:30 p.m. and placed a 29-year-old St. Andrews man under arrest. Charges are pending
