Brandon Meat Bandits Arrested Pushing Shopping Cart with Stolen Groceries

Brandon Police Service CrestTwo people in Brandon were arrested Sunday afternoon while pushing a shopping cart full of stolen meat.

Officers spotted the pair in the 400 block of Kirkcaldy Avenue at around 3:45 p.m. with the stolen groceries. Police say the items were taken from a business in the Corral Centre, along with a bottle of liquor.

A 36-year-old man was found to be on a court order to not possess alcohol, while the 37-year-old woman was previously ordered not to attend the business where the liquor was stolen.

Both were arrested and scheduled to appear in court.
