Three Manitoba Teens Charged with Attempted Murder After House Fire

Three teens are facing charges after a house fire in Oxford House First Nation on November 16.

A home in the community was found completely engulfed just before midnight, where Manitoba RCMP say five children were present at the time.

They were all taken to the local nursing station for smoke inhalation.

Police say two females and a male assaulted a 16-year-old boy at the home, before preventing him from leaving while starting the fire. A 13-year-old boy was able to escape the residence.

Two 14-year-old girls and a 15-year-old boy are have been charged with attempted murder and remain in custody.
