A man was killed Friday morning when his SUV rolled on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Headingley, Manitoba.
Emergency crews responded to the scene one kilometre west of Provincial Road 424 in the RM of Cartier at around 9:05 a.m.
RCMP say the SUV was travelling eastbound at the time when the driver caught the north shoulder and rolled into the ditch on the westbound side of the highway. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased on scene.

The driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and it’s unclear whether alcohol was a factor.
The age and name of the victim haven’t been released.
RCMP continue to investigate.
