A woman who struck a pedestrian with her vehicle in Brandon ended up becoming a victim herself on Monday evening.
Police say the driver contacted them to report the incident at 6th Street and Lorne Avenue shortly before 6 p.m.
When she got out of her vehicle to check on the 28-year-old man, he became aggressive and started pulling her hair and punching her vehicle. A passerby stepped in and held the man for police.
Officers found the man to be intoxicated and took him into custody. He was charged with assault and held until sober. He will appear in court in February.
