Four people were sent to hospital Wednesday in an accident involving a truck rear-ending a taxicab.
Winnipeg police closed the intersection of Fermor Avenue and St. Anne’s Road in all directions at around 6 a.m.
One woman was listed in critical condition, while the status of the other three people wasn’t immediately known.
Const. Rob Carver said at least one person needed to be extracted from the rear of the cab.
Police asked the public to avoid the area while they investigated. The intersection reopened at around 4 p.m.
