A man who RCMP say fired several shots at a home in Grand Rapids, Manitoba attempted to make his getaway on a snowmobile.
Officers were called Thursday morning to a home on River Road, where they received multiple reports of someone firing a gun and trying to enter the residence.
Police arrived to find the suspect fleeing on a snowmobile — which later broke down — forcing the man to run away on foot. Officers eventually tracked him down and made an arrest.
Two people inside the home that was hit by gunfire weren’t injured.
Shayne Karol, 38, from Grand Rapids, faces several firearms-related charges, as well as impaired driving. He will appear in court in The Pas on December 18.
