Motorists will be shelling out more to fill up their vehicles ahead of Christmas weekend.

Many gas stations across Winnipeg began hiking their prices Thursday to 112.9 cents per litre. That’s up 10 cents from Wednesday, when many stations were reporting 102.9.

If you’re quick enough, you may be able to still get a deal at the pump at a handful of stations. Husky on Marion Street and Plessis Road were still selling regular unleaded for 98.3 cents per litre.
