Winnipeg police spent the majority of Thursday dismantling a clandestine drug lab in a vacant suite in the 300 block of Kennedy Street.
Police were alerted by building management of a possible drug lab and responded to find a large quantity of chemicals to suggest the lab was likely manufacturing methamphetamine.
Police say such labs pose the risk of causing a fire or explosion, especially with the presence of toxic chemicals. The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service and Hazmut units also responded to safely dismantle the lab.
No arrests have been made and police continue to investigate.
